Troublesome Queries

Mamma, why am I so small?
Comes a question tall

My little one now watching the world
Sensing differences, seeing all

You'll grow my darling, don't fret
In stature, gain wings in time, not yet

Dear sapling your roots held firm by earth
You'll reach up to see sky's mirth

Until such time baby please know
Hold on to innocence, do kindness show

Love in your veins, steel your form
Let loose your thoughts, invest your time

Gather knowledge and educate your need
Learn patience and know what is greed

From womb to your prime
Flows as nature intends

Grow your 'self' that which define
your make, a mould so unique

Never dread, follow your heart
I promise to always be a part

Of the symphony that you'll write
A melody of choices wrong and right

Promise me you will be true
To the nature I see in you

Don't worry my dearest, not at all
You'll grow tall in no time at all!
